This one also differs from the ProSomnus PH because it has no metal on the sides. It uses a different advancement mechanism for moving the jaw forward to open the airway and instead uses tabs on the sides. This makes it a little more comfortable and less bulky than the PH. If you're a Medicare patient and looking for a Medicare approved mandibular advancement device, then we will often need to use the ProSomnus PH instead of this one, but both are effective in treating snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
